Why Jump for a Just World?
“I believe that we don’t think enough about those who are less fortunate than us,” says Pierre-Alain. “I think that every child deserves a good future, and JustWorld International is an amazing cause that helps to promote positive change in the developing world.”

 

BIOGRAPHY

Originally from France, Pierre-Alain Grand traveled throughout Europe to develop his riding skills and has trained with many of show jumping’s best including show jumping legend and fellow JustWorld Rider Ambassador, Herve Godignon.

In 2005, Pierre-Alain spent one year training in Paris with Herve from before moving to Germany to train with Manfred Marshall for two years. On the last leg of his European journey, Pierre-Alain traveled to Switzerland to further develop his skills under the watchful eye of Pius Schwitzer.

Pierre-Alain competes with several different horses ranging from young prospects to grand prix contenders. He has had numerous successes in his young career, including three consecutive trips to the French Junior Championships from 1998 to 2000, and becoming a licensed trainer.
