Why Jump for a Just World?
My motivation for becoming a JWI athlete is that while I do what I love. Through this program, I am able to help underprivileged children. I live in a third world country, so I think I have a responsibility to help people become more literate and assist JustWorld in their goals of providing shelter and nourishment to those in need.
Ana is a student in Monterrey (Mexico) in her first semester. She is currently studying chemical engineering. She enjoys such activities as painting and has been involved in community service projects and as helped with summer courses for children. She believes that her experience with JustWorld will contribute to her professional development because while she is volunteering and contributing to a better world, she will learn from other cultures, practice her English, and be able to jump for a just world.
