More Than 7,500 Meals Raised for Underserved Children at JustWorld Partner Projects

The Longines Global Champions Tour of Chantilly has supported JustWorld International for the last four years. JustWorld International volunteers welcomed spectators and spread enthusiasm for JustWorld's activities to help thousands of underprivileged children. The Swiss watch maker, Longines, renewed their philanthropic “Clear the Jump” initiative on Saturday, July 18th, during the 10th stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Chantilly. The sales of programs and the "Clear the Jump" successfully generated 7,500 meals for underserved children at JustWorld's partner projects.Screen Shot 2015-07-23 at 3.50.56 PMFor the 4th year, the Chantilly Jumping Organizing Committee entrusted JustWorld International to run and animate the official general information and welcome booth. The JustWorld International booth, located in the middle of the horse show exhibitor village, was a great stop for visitors to buy the Official Horse Show Program and learn about JustWorld. All proceeds from the sales of the programs were donated to JustWorld in support of its projects. With the purchase of a program for five euros, the buyer received a JustWorld bracelet which then identified them to be able to collect start lists for each class throughout the weekend. Volunteers also sold hats, fans, pins, key rings and scratch cards for other chances to win numerous prizes including an exclusive course walk each day with a famous equestrian. A total of 2,500 meals were generated for underserved children at JustWorld’s partner projects from the sales. “We are very grateful for Gérard Manzinali and his team for giving JustWorld International the opportunity to have such high visibility at the event,” said Jessica Newman, founder and executive director of JustWorld International. “Chantilly is one of the most beautiful events in the world and it is a privilege just to be present.”Screen Shot 2015-07-24 at 4.02.16 PMJustWorld has its roots in the world of equestrian sports and enjoys the support of many athletes, fans, exhibitors, owners, officials and partners whom were all in attendance, making Chantilly an event not to be missed. “Our JustWorld Ambassadors have always given their time to help spark interest and attract crowds through autograph sessions or walking the course with winners of JustWorld drawings. The proximity between the public and the best riders is important as both join together to support a single cause, children in need,” said Jessica Newman; “Kudos to the French actor Guillaume Canet who made himself available at the JustWorld booth to sign autographs for his fans.”
