Europe Update: La Baule, Chantilly, and More!
JustWorld had yet another warm welcome at it’s first European partner event of the year, the beautiful Longines Jumping International de La Baule!Our dedicated volunteers gathered once again to help JustWorld raise funds and awareness. The show program, of which the entire sale was donated to JustWorld, was sold throughout the weekend allowing buyers a chance to win an exciting prize at a daily drawing. The prizes? A course-walk of the big class of the day with some of the best riders in the world or a package with exclusive skin-care products by Institut Esthederm. A big thank you to Camille Conde Ferreira, Kevin Staut and Eugenie Angot for taking time off their busy schedules to accompany the winners on an unforgettable course-walk, as well as Institut Esthederm for their generosity!The show proved equally successful for some of our JustWorld ambassadors competing there! There were placements for Camille Conde Ferreira, Valentine Belooussoff and Marina Hands; Nils Vilain was second in the Prix Groupe Barrière Grand Prix and Kevin Staut was victorious in the FEI Nation’s Cup presented by Longines!JustWorld thanks the entire organization of the Longines International de La Baule for their continued support and for hosting us so warmly once again.Some more exciting news - We are finally able to announce our partnership with hotel Le Dolce in Chantilly, France. Le Dolce is going to give their guests the opportunity to donate one Euro from their final bill to the JustWorld partner projects around the world. This exciting new partnership was kicked off by an elegant, musical cocktail fundraiser on Thursday, May 18th. Le Dolce donated one Euro per beverage to JustWorld and guests were able to enjoy an exposition by renown artist Cathy Schein, accompanied by violinist Eric-Maria Couturier, who generously donated ten percent of the sales from the evening to JustWorld.
What’s next? An adventure into the world of three-day-eventing!
JustWorld is partnering with the Royal Jump de Berticherès from the 1st until the 5th of June. It will be a wonderful opportunity to spread awareness about JustWorld to a new equestrian community and we will be selling tickets during that weekend for a special drawing.
