Jumping de Liege Graciously Hosts JustWorld International

It was the second year in a row in which Jumping de Liege graciously hosted JustWorld International. During the show, JustWorld raised awareness at the JustWorld booth, situated between the grandstands and the warm-up ring. Peter Carlsberg, one of the main organizers of JustWorld activities at the show, handed out patches to a new group of eager volunteers ready to sell tombola tickets, pins, key chains and other JustWorld merchandise.liege 3 The stand boasted all sorts of toys and stuffed animals for enthusiastic children to win in coloring contests along with equestrian merchandise donated by JustWorld supporters for drawings held throughout the weekend! One of the most popular items up for grabs at the JustWorld stand, generously donated by Ashford Farm & Mathy Stables, was a "Day at a Pro Stable." Both stables offered winners to come spend the day and witness what a typical day of training is like at their stables. Saturday was quite a special day for the JustWorld team. Amidst the lines of stalls, riders and fans, an exciting feeling of anticipation could be felt as one approached the JustWorld stand. Behind a massive crowd of delighted supporters, sat John Whitaker and Jerome Gurery, amiably signing autographs for all!liege 5 A wonderful mix of Ambassadors also took part in the festivities, including Kevin Staut, Marlon Zanotelli, Lisa Nooren and Laura Mathy. Isabelle Sepulchre, the JustWorld European Director, and Laurence Boccard, who organizes press relations, visited all the way from France to support the event. They said, ‘It’s so great when these riders, who are so busy, take a little time out of their schedules to help us draw awareness to the cause. It’s such a big gesture for us." Kevin Staut, an ardent Ambassador for JustWorld's cause, provided a brief, eloquent interview detailing the in’s and out’s of the organization to the public just before the start of the Grand Prix. The audience in Belgium is new to JustWorld and to have one of the top Ambassadors speak so passionately about the organization truly impacts the awareness of those unfamiliar with the cause. Since last year’s show it is evident that JustWorld has made some headway and garnered more recognition within the world of riders and horse enthusiasts alike. Riders regularly dropped by the stand in between their classes just to say hello and were genuinely interested in finding out more about JustWorld. polo 2 Ambassador Organizes JustWorld Polo Tournament to Benefit JustWorld An exciting paddock polo tournament benefitting JustWorld was organized by JustWorld French Ambassador, Evrard de Spa, at the Pole International du Cheval in Deauville, France this month!
