JustWorld Announces GIVE 4 GOOD Campaign: Which Cause Will You Choose?

Wellington, FL - September 23, 2013 - For $500 you can provide 400 Cambodian students with purified drinking water for a year. In Honduras, that $500 is enough to provide 30 children with breakfast every Saturday morning before participating in Compartir's Youth Journalism Movement. In Guatemala, that same $500 can equip a kitchen with a gas stove and oven to cook daily meals for all of the Patojos. JustWorld's GIVE 4 GOOD Campaign allows you to choose a cause that is close to your heart-a cause that will change the lives of more than 3,500 children by giving them access to the opportunities and skills that break the cycle of poverty. JustWorld International helps to provide impoverished children in Cambodia, Guatemala and Honduras with education, daily meals, medical care, and access to leadership and cultural development programs.

Thunderbird Show Park, which chose to support the nutrition and health causes at PIO in Cambodia, raised over $16,000. They held several events throughout July and August in support of the GIVE 4 GOOD Campaign including "An Evening With George Morris" which received outstanding reviews, two silent auctions, a live auction, two Grand Prix Calcutta's, the fan-favorite Horseless Horse Show, and a Penny Drive. Thunderbird was also generous enough to collect donations from an option on their entry forms, and the highlight of the events came from the chance to dunk Rich Fellers, Andres Rodriguez and Christopher Pack into a giant tank of water.

"I am so pleased to be joining Jessica Newman and the JustWorld Team for the first time in Cambodia to volunteer with the Cambodia Rice Project," Jane Tidball stated. "It will be absolutely fantastic to connect with the school and children that we have been supporting over the years for positive change in nutrition, health and education. JustWorld International is providing the opportunity for developing countries to break the cycle of poverty.  JustWorld sponsored schools have an astounding 97% student retention rate with students receiving a rice stipend as an attendance incentive; this program has been the focus of Thunderbird's Give 4 Good focus in 2013. Thunderbird is so pleased to have the opportunity to collaborate with JustWorld to raise funds and awareness for programs in developing countries."Thunderbird Show Park was the first international horse show to choose a cause and launch the JustWorld GIVE 4 GOOD Campaign. Since its conception, the American Gold Cup, Alltech National Horse Show and the Las Vegas National Horse Show have stepped up to support the campaign as well. The participating horse shows are working in tandem with JustWorld Professional Rider Ambassadors to choose their causes and make a difference on a global scale.JustWorld Professional Rider Ambassadors are advocating for their causes across the world, and should you choose their cause, you will align with them as an active global citizen. You will have the opportunity to learn about the programs, projects and visions that are the pillars for a just world. With over 500 JustWorld Ambassadors in more than 40 countries, it is nothing short of passion that acts as the driving force for the GIVE 4 GOOD campaign. This is your chance to put a smile on a child's face, to take something that is so normal for us and to fulfill their dreams. The JustWorld GIVE 4 GOOD campaign opens the door for that defining moment and offers compassionate supporters the opportunity to choose a cause that is close to their hearts.
