CODE OF CONDUCT
All persons who are a part of JustWorld International—employees, volunteers and athletes—expressly accept to abide by the following principles of the JustWorld International Code of Conduct.
Respect and Inclusivity
Treat all individuals with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, abilities or beliefs. Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
Reliability and Punctuality
Respect the time commitments and schedules agreed upon. If you are unable to fulfill your ambassador responsibilities or attend a scheduled event, please inform the appropriate contact person as soon as possible.
Confidentiality
Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information. Do not disclose or share any confidential or proprietary information about JWI, its donors or partners without proper authorization.
Compliance with Laws and Policies
JWI reserves the right to exclude or terminate anyone who has violated the law or demonstrated disorderly or obscene conduct or physical, verbal or sexual harrassment.
Professionalism
No matter the age or position of the individual, all persons working with JWI are considered by the organization to be professionals working for a common mission. Conduct yourself in a professional manner, both in person and online.
Responsible Use of Resources
Use organizational resources, including materials, equipment and funds responsibly and efficiently. Report any damage or loss promptly.
Safety and Wellbeing
Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Follow all safety guidelines provided by JWI, and communicate any special needs or concerns you may have.
Volunteer Recognition
Celebrate and recognize the efforts of fellow volunteers. Acknowledge and appreciate the impact of your collective contributions to JWI’s mission.
