Thanks a Bundt'ch!

Dedicated Ambassadors of all ages are always looking to find a sweet way to give back while simultaneously competing at top rated horse shows around the globe. This is especially true for JustWorld’s West Coast Ambassadors as they ride at the Blenheim June Classic III each year and put on the annual JustWorld “Nothing Bundt Cakes” Fundraiser in San Juan Capistrano, California. For multiple years, JustWorld has had a strong representation at this highly acclaimed horse show that is also fondly referred to as "The Oaks” with this year being no exception. Ambassadors gathered together and began preparation for this year’s activities weeks in advance.A number of junior, amateur, and professional Ambassadors teamed up to bring in an assortment of delicious cakes from the local, Nothing Bundt Cake bakery. With decadent red velvet and vanilla flavored bundtlets in tow, the Ambassador set out to not only share these tasty treats but also spread an amazing amount of awareness to the cause.Throughout the weekend Ambassadors were sporting blue and purple gear while also competing in JustWorld saddle pads and pins proudly placed on their show coats. The groups then gathered donations in exchange for a ring-shaped treat where all proceeds directly benefited JustWorld and over 6,500 children living in Cambodia, Guatemala and Honduras. Together, these philanthropic riders and generous supporters were able to bring in enough funds to support the equivalent of lunch for three students for a year.Morgan Dickerson, life-long Ambassador and upcoming sophomore at Duke University, took the lead in executing this successful initiative. Morgan had this to say about the weekend, “I am so proud of all of our West Coast Ambassadors for organizing a great fundraising event and spreading awareness for an incredible cause. I am honored that JustWorld International gives me the power to be a changemaker so I can do my part to help create a more "just world".Upon the close of the day's fundraising, Morgan’s work was still not done. Morgan went on to take home a second-place finish in Saturday night’s exciting Six Bar Challenge. Additionally, Morgan closed out this big weekend of riding for a cause with a win in the Electronic Vet 1.40m Jr-A/O Jumper Classic Sunday afternoon.

Big thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes, Equ Lifestyle Boutique, Blenheim Equisports and all of the wonderful West Coast Ambassadors who made this event possible.
