JustWorld spent a fun-filled day at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, France, this past weekend! The ‘Trophée de la Haute Pommeray’ kicked off June 17th, and this sporty week filled with exciting matches came to a close with the final competition, the Polo Charity Cup, on Sunday, June 25th.It was a wonderful day at the Polo Charity Cup - high level matches, a great crowd, wonderful weather and a generous initiative! Set in a beautiful orangery over-looking the meticulous polo fields, a delicious brunch was organized for the invitees who enjoyed their nibbles and drinks without having to miss any of the excitement of the competition. Thanks to the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, part of this lovely brunch’s revenues was donated to JustWorld.A special drawing was organized for the occasion and we were joined by some of our dedicated volunteers to sell as many tickets as possible! Guests were able to take a chance at winning a variety of elegant prizes including a bottle of champagne, a polo initiation session, L’Oreal skincare and many more fun prizes. Everybody participated; in fact there wasn’t a single person who didn’t buy a ticket!As the afternoon progressed, the time had come for the most anticipated match of the day, the Polo Charity Cup. Following an exciting match, it was announced that the winning team generously donated €100 for every goal scored, raising a total of €1000 for JustWorld and its partner projects!A huge thank you to the Sainte-Mesme Team and their captain, Robert Strom, for this generosity. JustWorld's Executive Director, Jessica Newman, was joined by French actress and JustWorld Ambassador, Marina Hands, to present the trophy to the winning team.The day concluded with the recruitment of our second French Polo Ambassador, Pierre Henri Ngoumou. We warmly welcome him to the JustWorld Family!All in all, it was a wonderful day for raising awareness and funds in the polo community. We would like to thank the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly for graciously hosting us. A special thanks to Evrard de Spa, our very first polo Ambassador, for introducing us to this equestrian community, and the Sainte-Mesme polo team for their tremendous gesture. Last but not least, thank you to our devoted volunteers who keep supporting and following us wherever we go!

Thanks to all of you, we were able to raise €1500 to continue our mission of breaking the cycle of poverty.
