Voltaire Design, Taking Corporate Social Responsibility to the Next Level
Brice Goguet, President and Founder of Voltaire Design, started riding ponies at six years-old and got hooked. Growing up in the horse industry, he discovered that it was very clear what he was bound to do. A few years after forming the French saddle making company, the business has grown and expanded internationally. Voltaire Design is now in more than ten countries and known as one of the top saddle making brands in the United States.Just as important to Goguet as quality products is incorporating a philosophy of social responsibility among the equestrian community and helping children reach their own full potential. Goguet explained, “We wanted to form a partnership with a non-profit organization that would really capture the attention of horse people and it became obvious, very quickly, that the organization would be JustWorld International.”This year, Voltaire Design will be sponsoring the JustWorld Horseless Horse Show at the American Gold Cup Horse Show. The JustWorld Horseless Horse Show is one of the organization’s signature fundraisers aimed at getting children involved in a 'kids helping kids' initiative. With set jumping courses, participants race against the clock on their own two feet vying for the win. Voltaire Design will also be a sponsor for the charity’s largest fundraiser of the year, the 15th Annual JustWorld Gala in Wellington, Florida. Through their sponsorship, they will be making a donation to support the life-sustaining programs at JustWorld’s partner projects and giving thousands of children a leg up to a brighter future.Voltaire Design has been a long-time supporter of JustWorld. In 2011, the company started a special initiative - nineteen limited edition saddles to benefit JustWorld International. Each saddle was numbered and recorded on the billet protector, which was designed in JustWorld's signature purple and features the wording ‘Jump for a JustWorld'. For each saddle sold, Voltaire pledged to donate $1,000 to the non-profit organization. Brice Goguet also participated in JustWorld's "Cheers for Change" fundraiser last year, which encouraged JustWorld supporters to organize smaller, intimate gatherings where hosts share their passion for the organization with family and friends, inviting each to join them in supporting the charity they hold dear to their hearts.Voltaire Design serves as a tremendous example of a company taking corporate social responsibility seriously. Voltaire Design and JustWorld International are looking forward to continuing their partnership in the long-term and making a real impact on children's lives around the world.
